2024.2.23
Spring may be around the corner, hopefully
2024.01.01
A Happy New Year! Wishing for Good Health, Happiness and all the best in 2024.
2023.08.17
It seems that Cicada may not care much about the global boiling all over the world.
2023.5.31
Moss Phlox forms a carpet of flowers with a backdrop of Mt.Fuji near the Lake Motosu in Yamanashi Prefecture.
2023.4.08
I've walked around the park nearby, taking some pictures of wild birds and flowers on a sunny day in Tokyo.
2023.03.18
Spring might have already come without any strong spring storm, feeling sleepy in dawn in spring, hawks are getting busy to build their nest and lay eggs in the nearby park. Hope everything should be OK and peace and quiet.
2023.02.23
January has gone, February is going to go soon, and March may soon come and go, then, Spring is around the corner. Time and tide wait for no man. Time flies! What goes around comes aroud. maybe. Knock on wood or keep fingers crossed, or what ever, hoping for good luck.
2023.01.17
Hope, Expectation, Desire, Wish, whatever it may be the new year resolution? Good health, happiness, peace, wealth, whatever you may look for, be that as it may, self-satisfying egoism may speak louder. Hope deeds speak louder rather than words and dream may come true!
202210.15
Summer seems to be almost coming to end, while some butterflies are trying to flutter desperately to stick to the warm weather, before the autumn wind starts to blow hard. Be that as it may, life goes on.
2022.9.10
Hottest summer should go and will soon be gone with the autumnal wind, whatever the temperature, summer season is soon be over any way, and autumn is around the corner.Harvest moon is smiling.
2022.8.18
Hoping to see the diminishing return of this hottest summer wave in Tokyo, cicadas are singing loud, louder, loudest, trying to say goodbyto this hot summer. Hope autumn may be around the corner pretty soon. Knock on the wood!
2022.7.30
On the hot, hotter, hottest Satudays and Sundays in Tokyo. I make it a rule to spend most of my time for reading in the cool atmosphere of the Starbucs just to be on the safe side, for fear of having a heatstroke besides CORVID19, whatever.
2022.5.9
Now that 'Golden Week holiday' is over, rainy season may be drawing near, while I'm trying to take some pictures of wild birds and butterflies at the park nearby.
2022.2.23
Identified flying objects? I was lucky enough to take some pictures of a hovering kingfisher in a sunny morning at the Park in Tokyo! Spring is around the corner, maybe. Good omen or good harbinger of the coming spring, hopefully!
2022.1.30
I'm trying to walk around Inokashira Park on Saturdays and Sundays as possible as I can whenever the weather in Tokyo is mild and cooperative for taking pictures of wild birds there.
2022.1.16
The weather was a bit warm and nice for the Jyuriki Country Club at this time of the year although my golfing was still terrible regardless of the weather or whatever. Be that as it may, Mr.fiji looked very beautiful, awesome, solemn and just gorgeous,eh.
2021.12.26
Before the weather in Tokyo gets very cold for this time of the year,I've just been to Mt.Takao to take some pictures of Mt.Fuji and pray for the good health and all the best for 2022.
2021 10.18
The weather here in Tokyo is rapidly changing toward winter, skipping autumn, it seems. Butterflies are getting away from the scenery and rarely be seen in the parks in Tokyo these days. Time goes around and comes around someday some time somewhere.
2021.09.02
As the autumn is drawing near, the weather here may be slowly but steadly changing for better or worse, as time goes by, while the butterflies are getting busy not to be left behind by the changing seasons. As the saying goes, time flies!
2021.08.07
At the opening of Tokyo Olympics, Blue Impulse Jet Fighters flew over the center of Tokyo, while a young hawk was no match for this.
2021.07.06
We are in the midst of a miserable rainy season called "Tsuyu" in Japan, while the COVID-19 pandemic has not been contained yet despite the nation-wide vaccination. Be that as it may, the young hawk birdies are growing rapidly at the near-by park, which may be a good news.
2021.06.10
While the weather here is all of a sudden getting very hot even though the "Tsuyu rainy season" is drawing near, I'm still making it a rule to walk to the nearest public park to take some pictures of wild birds on Saturdays or Sundays whenever possible, anyway.
.
2021.05.08
Although the weather is getting very hot all of a sudden for an early summer day in Tokyo,I've walked around the near-by park, wearing two face-masks to prevent any possible COVID-19 infection, taking some pictures of wild birds.
2021.02.17
Spring might have come already even though the weather in Tokyo has not yet warmed up, while the wild birds in the nearby park semm to be enjoying the early spring atmosphere, be that as it may.
2021.01.24
New Year's Birds'-Eye views might be focused on the new insights, forward-looking positive approaches, which would hopefully be my new eye-opening or serendipity for the new frontier especially when the going gets tougher.
2020.12.23
As the autumnal follages are fading away, the weather in Tokyo is getting colder day by day, while I'm still making it a rule to take a walk in the nearby park to take some pictures of wild birds, trying to catch two birds by one good shooting.
2020.11.30
On a little bit chilly autumn morning, I've walked around the Inokashira Park and Wadabori Park in Tokyo, taking some pictures of wild birds by my Nikon Z-7 and Olympus E-M1 MarkIII.
2020.11.08
I had a chance to use Nikkor 200-400mm Zoom Lense for testing by taking some pictures of kingfishers at the Inokashira Park in Tokyo, which turned out to be a high resolution tele-photo lense but a little bit too heavy for me to carry around.
2020.10.12
Now that hottest summer season has gone with the autumnal wind, I've walked around the Shinjuku Central Park in Tokyo as well as the Inokasira Park in Musasino City, trying to take some pictures of butterflies and birds living in the suburban habitats.
2020.9.8
I've walked around the Inokashira Park and Shinjuku Central Park in Tokyo although the weather was still hot and humid even in the early September, while the autumn may be just around the corner hopefully.
.
2020.7.14
Even though the weather in Tokyo has not been good these days in the midst of rainy season, only chick of wild hawks living in the nearby park in the center of Tokyo has been growing so fast to be a juvenile bird to my great surprise.
2020.6.16
My photo exhibition under the title of "Bird's Eye Views" will be held from Jun. 22 (Mon.) to Jun. 30(Tue.) at Nikon Plaza Shinjuku Photo Square, which is located on the 28th Fl. of El-Tower at Shinjuku. If interested , please enjoy.
2020.5.30
Although the weather is getting a little bit too hot for early summer climate probably due to the global warming, I'm trying to walk to the nearest park along the river, taking some pictures of wild birds.
2020.5.11
These days I'm getting used to take a walk to the nearest park along the river in the morning whenever the weather is cooperative, taking some pictures of wild birds.
2020.3.29
Sometimes I find it a bit surprizing to observe wild hawks surviving even in the center of Tokyo even though their natural habitats might have been deteriorated due to the recent urban developments.
2020.3.22
It seems that the spring has finally come in Tokyo, judging from these changes found in the surroundings observed at a park here in Tokyo. I've been enjoying taking some pictures of wild birds together with cherry blossoms.
2020.2.18
I've walked around a park in Tokyo ,although the weather seems to be still a bit chilly, and took some pictures of wild birds there, feeling that Spring is ajust round the corner.
2020.1.18
Sometimes I'm a little bit surprized to find many kinds of wild birds at a public park in the center of Tokyo despite a lot of housing construction developments as well as hustle and bustle of urban daily life.
2019.12.31-2020.1.1
Season's Greetings and A Happy New Year! Best wishes! Hope your New Year drean will come true!
2019.12.9
I drove around the Five Lakes around Mt.Fuji, taking some pictures of "Upside-Down Mt.Fuji" reflections on the lakes.
2019.12.1
On the first day of this December while the weather is not getting too cold nor windy nor too rainy nor snowy, I've walked around the Inokashiea Park to see autumnal foliage, taking some pictures of wild birds.
2019.11.18
I've walked around the park on a beautiful sunny autumn dai in Tokyo, taking some pictures of a kingfisher there.
2019.9.29
Good catch! A kingfisher is the king of the fishers in the world,eh!
2019.9.24
After the typhoon is gone, I've walked around the Inokashira Park, taking some pictures of a king fisher.
2019.9.8
I've tested my new Nikon digital camera at the Inokashira Park in Tokyo, taking some pictures of water birds. Incidentally I happened to have a chance to take a picture of a rarely seen butterfly probably because of the changes in their natural hapitats due to the global warming.
2019.8.25
I've been to Inokashira Park again to take some pictures of the same kingfisher, wearing a camouflage cap, which should be effective for shooting pictures of wild birds. However, unfortunately it attracted onlookers strolling around the park, which drew the bird's immediate attention. I could barely capture a glimps of the bird.
2019.8.20
This time I've used Nikon-make Zoom Lense to capture the same kingfisher at Inokashira Park. But the results might be a little bit discouraging, it seems, probably because the object might be too nervous and careful about a humanbeing carrying such big camera and lense this time anyway.
2019.8.18
I've happened to visit Inokashira Park and to my surprise I've encountered a Kingfisher for the first time in several years. Maybe their natural habitat there might have been restored by the park staffs' efforts over the years.
2019.8.11
I've tested my 200-500mm zoom lense with X1.4 Converter at Inokashira Park, although it's too heavy to carry around on such a hot and humid day in Tokyo. But it's always a lot of fun.
2019.8.4
I've been to the Inokashira Park to see if the all chicks are growing safely, but I felt bad to find only 5 chicks swiming around their parents although six eggs had been hatched last time I saw them there. Maybe one chick is missing or captured by the predator? Keep fingers crossed.
2019.7.28
On a very hot and humid day immediately after the "Tsuyu"(rainy season) is over, I've taken a walk at Inokashira Park in Tokyo again, taking some pictures of water birds raring chicks.
2019.7.21
I've walked around the Inokashira Park in Tokyo, taking advantage of a brief break of "Tsuyu"(Rainy Season). A little bit surprising to find a lot of chicks and ducklings there, propably because the park's efforts to restore the natural habitats for water birds might have turned out to be successful so far.
2019.7.6
I've walked around the Pond Shinobazu ("Shinobazunoike") near the Ueno Park in Tokyo despite a littlr bit drizzly weather, taking some pictures of beautiful lotus flowers there.
2019.6.25

2019.2.8
I've tested Lumix 100-300mm Zoom Lens at the Inokashira Park in Tokyo, taking some pictures. Despite the cloudy weather, resolution of the picture could be better, I hope.
2019.2.3
To test Olympus-make 50-200mm zoom lense, I took some pictures of Keio Railway trains.
2019.1.27
"Shinkansen" bullet train may look like a robot in such telescope perspectives.

2018.12.28
I've tested Nikkor Zoom Lens(200-500mm) at the Hibiya Park in Tokyo., by taking some pictures of a kingfisher, which turned out to be so-so to say the least.
2018.12.24
I've been to the Lake Yamanaka, which should be called "Swan Lake"especially at this time the season, as well as other famous four lakes located around Mt. Fuji.
2018.12.18
I've just tested Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II with 50-200mm Zoom Lense + 2X Converter at the Hibiya Park on a sunny winter day in Tokyo.

On an Indian Summer like autumnal day, I've been to Hakone, visiting The Hakone Open-Air Museum, taking some pictures including snow-capped Mt.Fuji.
